BLAKE RUDIS: Visual Philosopher
SUPERSCAPES!!!
The show aired last Sunday and I have updated the website for those of you unable to see the episode. This is the link to the Superscapes show page on HGTV.com. I must spread many thanks to Lauren Williams, Gary Gragg, and the Edelman productions staff for granting me and my sculpture this opportunity! If you want to check out the piece here it is.
San Fran gallery?
If you happen to be in San Francisco from June 1st through August 31st be sure to head to The Artists Alley. I will be showing my work there for a couple months. I had an interview there May 1st and loved the gallery space. The other artists featured there have some truly fascinating work. I am honored to be shown with them. The gallery is on Mission street between 5th and 6th street. Next door to the mission garage! Check it out, you will not be disappointed!
HGTV!?!?!
Hello everyone! So I had the opportunity to do a sculpture for a Television show on the Home and Garden TV network! It is called "Superscapes" and will premier next month on the HGTV channel. I will update my sculptures once the show has premiered as of right now I am not allowed to as it will give away the suspense of the show. I should have about 2 and a half minutes of fame!
THE PERCENTAGE PAINTING IS 100%!!!

A New Art Movement Anyone?
I am disgusted with the lack of new art movements for this day and age of art. With the amount of technology at our disposal I am flabbergasted that new art movements aren't being started daily. I am proposing a new art movement: "The Visual Philosopher". If you would like more information please visit The Visual Philosopher. This is my blog about my art where people can leave comments. The latest post is "The Visual Philosopher's Manifesto", it details the specifics behind this new movement. Please tell me what you think, and if you would be interested in joining my efforts please email me @ blake1@rudis.net.
Finally showing again.
So it seems I have a ceramic piece in a show at the San Jose City College! It is about time! 2 years with no shows makes Blake an angry man! I broke the streak and am working my way into the art community! The opening is May 6th!
