BLAKE RUDIS: Visual Philosopher
In a world full of visual intensity, one is surrounded by an abundance of artistic possibilities. Some are desensitized to this and live day by day never paying attention to the beauty that surrounds them, never thinking deeper about the complexities that encompass them, it is that which I hope I never become.

Since the beginning of humanity art has been an essential bonding agent uniting every race. Cultural differences are set aside when one views a piece of artwork. The viewer disconnects themselves from reality and for a short period of time becomes one with the artist’s expression. It is an absorbing experience to be aware of this visual osmosis.

Using every medium possible I navigate the viewer through the crevasses of my brain to the pivotal point of my occipital lobe allowing one to view the world as I do. In many cases I do not consider myself an artist; I am a “Visual Philosopher”.

As you browse through my work keep this in mind. I hope you enjoy the work I am sharing with you and please feel free to criticize it. Criticism yields self improvement not self destruction.
